Daniil made his way to Los Angeles from Moscow in 2022, and has quickly established himself as a powerful creative force. With an upbringing steeped in classic American cinema but rooted in a post-Soviet Russian context, Daniil infuses his commercials, music videos, and narrative projects with a unique blend of influences. Daniil's distinct style marries the frenetic energy of Gaspar Noé, the brooding darkness of David Fincher, and the rich character development of Quentin Tarantino and Jim Jarmusch.

With a preference for shooting on 16mm film, he brings a gritty and grungy aesthetic to his projects, characterized by deeply saturated lighting, Eastern European influences, and a penchant for pyrotechnics and practical effects.
